
Kindergarten Readiness Program (Ages 2–5)
Our Kindergarten Readiness Program is designed to support preschool-aged children as they prepare for a successful transition into kindergarten. Through a combination of structured learning and play-based group activities, children build the skills needed to feel confident, engaged, and ready for a classroom environment.
🧠 Skills We Focus On:
- Completing age-appropriate tasks with increasing independence
- Attending and participating during learning activities ● Following simple and multi-step instructions
- Learning in a group setting with typical classroom distractions
🤝 Social & Peer Interaction Skills
- Participating in group activities such as circle time and small groups
- Developing social communication skills
- Building positive peer interactions, including:
-Taking turns
-Responding to peers
-Understanding personal space - Responding to peer invitations to play
- Lining up and moving with peers
- Learning through peer modeling and imitation
🔄 Transitions & Classroom Routines
- Transitioning between activities throughout the day
- Moving from preferred activities (such as play or recess) to less-preferred learning activities
- Building flexibility and coping skills to support classroom routines
🌱 Our Approach
We use a supportive, developmentally appropriate approach that meets each child where they are. Our focus is on building communication, confidence, and independence while helping children feel safe, successful, and motivated to learn.
Program Hours: ½ day am 8am - 11am ½ day pm 12pm - 3pm
